Our club’s new Coach of the Year

May 31, 2018

Albany Swim Club was very well represented at the 2018 Westpac Swimmer of the Year awards.

Our Head Coach Marshall McAleese received the ASCTA/WA Development Coach of the Year award, testimony to the tireless work he puts into his program and the support he provides to our elite-level swimmers.

Kaye Bolger was awarded Technical Official of the Year, to add to her other national accolades. It is fantastic to see her receive this state award, as she has made a huge commitment and dedication to the state and our own club.

And Tom Gawned was nominated for the Frank Osman Memorial Shield, which is awarded to the most consistent 13-14 year old swimmer at the State Age LC Champs.

The club couldn’t be prouder of these three hard-working individuals.
